Manual Coffee Grinder

Andrew: I will preach about this one. Not sorry. Three minutes of grinding before the day starts. You feel it, you smell it, you show up. The coffee is better. The morning is better. Fight me. This is the one ritual I have that requires nothing from a screen and everything from your hands. That's the whole point.

Ashlyn: I tried it. It worked. I don't fully understand why — it's just grinding coffee — but there's something about doing one slow physical thing before school that actually helps. I've kept doing it. I'm not going to be as dramatic about it as Dad is. But yeah. It's a thing.

Chloe: I like making things and I like coffee so this was always going to work for me. There's something satisfying about the resistance — you can feel when the grind is right. I've started timing myself. Dad thinks this is missing the point. I think it's the same point, just faster. We've agreed to disagree.
