Graypants Lighting

Andrew: LED lighting is efficient. I use it. But efficiency and warmth are not the same thing, and most people don't realize that until they're sitting in a room that feels wrong and can't figure out why. Graypants figured out warmth. Recycled corrugated cardboard, pendant lights, the kind of glow that changes a room. We've specified them in multiple Shopify offices at Linebox. They're in my home. When something shows up in both places, that's not a coincidence.

Ashlyn: The cardboard thing sounds like it shouldn't work. It does. The light is genuinely different — warmer, softer, less like being in an office. I asked Dad about the kitchen. He said he'd been thinking about it for two years. Two years. I don't know if that's thoughtful or just slow. Probably both.

Chloe: I like that these are made from cardboard and they still look expensive. That's actually impressive. I've been doing a lot of stuff with my room lately and lighting is the thing that changes everything — way more than people think. Dad's been saying this for years. He's right. I hate admitting that but he's right.
